The Freedom to Fail


The next time you feel like a failure, or are afraid to trust the Father remember these people

NOAH was a drunk
ABRAHAM lied, and slept with a woman not his wife
ISAAC was a daydreamer
JACOB was a liar and schemer
RACHEL stole things from her father
JOSEPH was abused, and a convict
MOSES had anger issues and was a murderer
JOSHUA was unsure of his position
REHAB was a prostitute
GIDEON was afraid
SAMPSON was a womanizer
Barak tried to get out his assignment
DAVID committed adultery and was a murderer
SOLOMON left his first love
JONAH ran from God
PETER denied Christ
MARTHA worried about everything
The SAMARITAN WOMAN was divorced, more than once

They all Failed but God used them. Failure is not final or fatal. The Father is going to love you, in the midst of failure. Remember these three verses:

For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, Proverbs 24:16a

Why dies this person rise again? Because the strength of God flows in and though their body.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 You are forgiven because the Father knows who you and your habit of going it alone, so He provided a way for you to live without the weights of guilt, which will lead you back to performing for Him.
